Professional Learning Workshops

Using the SCALE Immersion Model for Professional Learning, we will examine our existing beliefs and practices before engaging in a shared learning experience that models research-based pedagogical strategies and techniques. We will then reflect on our experience by returning to our previous thinking and consider implications for classroom practice.

Curriculum Consulting & Development

Together we will develop units of study that inspires students to ask questions and search for answers. Suggested topics:

• ecosystem dynamics

• evolution & adaptation

• investigation design

• genetics, heredity & reproduction

• obtaining & evaluating resources

• science & literacy integration
